ARTIST STATEMENT

My art was borne out of passion and great love for perfection in creating hyper realistic drawing of faces and forms. My art  is basically focused  on black lives; recreating and  representing my experiences and those encountered by the people around me such as rape,racism,Intersectionality etc making my audience aware enough to respond to what is going on in their society,Working with charcoal and graphite Pencils on paper.
